Has anyone mentioned Peter Franzman here yet? He joined Sensis early this year and has not endeared himself to staff.
Peter seems to be quite proud of his ‘warped’ sense of humour, however I’m not sure that his extended team share his feelings. Some of his jokes are openly racist (he has made chicken ‘buk, buk’ noises about asian members of his team in front of other managers) but no-one seems brave enough to speak to HR. Is it really acceptable for a GRP to apologise for his sense of humour prior to making negative comments in front of others?
Sensiswatch, you may find some very interesting content if you investigate the high attrition in Peter’s team.
Mitsy, I’ve sat in many meetings with Peter and heard nothing racist or derogatory from Peter. In fact I’d say, contrary to your post, Peter is highly liked and respected. Certainly in our team he’s thought highly of and a breath of fresh air.
Peter is the least of the company’s problems. I’d be bold enough to say the company needs more of him; a spade is a spade in Pete’s mind and it’s delivered with humour and alacrity.
And he has vision and wants to do the right thing by the company.
Peter has his teams trust and for good reason. He’s a straight shooter and he genuinely wants to help. It’s a pleasure to be working in his team.
Peter challenges how we think and it’s what we need. The people that left were leaving anyway and one of those was so angry he should’ve been reported to HR many times.
Glad to see that finally this website has some positive comments. Sensis has good and bad points, just talking about the bad is typical of staff who don’t want to work in an organization. If that’s the case, leave.
