Grainne Kearns

Grainne Kearns was appointed Chief Information Officer in June 2009. In this role, Grainne is responsible for all aspects of Sensis’ IT infrastructure and line-of-business application development, support and maintenance, including IT service delivery and security. Having been completely conspicuous in her absence since her Amdocs junket, laughably Grainne Kearns returns in a pathetic attempt to claim the glory of another Amdocs Release.
To have an article on Sensis Intranet about the success of the latest Release of the now infamous iGEN Platform, a Release that was fixing all the problems Sensis has been stuck with for the last 18 months, from Sensis CIO who has been completely absent, is an insult.
If it wasn’t so pathetic and blindingly obvious as to this incompetent CIO motives (to claim the credit) it would truly would be laughable, sadly it is not.
May someone in the position of power whom may sign off on thousands of dollars in expenditure explain how the CIO of Sensis can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a consulting company call Hunter Pacific and how 2 of their Senior Consultants can then become General Managers of IT sections reporting to herself
Easy, can someone say erhh kickback
Dont worry about doin deals with Hunter, that only lines the pockets of Grainne but it doesnt really impact Sensis except costs us a few hundred K. The real issue is she has no idea on how to manage Amdocs. They completly walk all over her like she is a little child. Its just so funny to watch how she always tries to hide behind other people so no one ever sees her. She rarely attends any meetings so no one can ask her to be accountable for anything. IT is a complete mess at Sensis and after 2 years she has single handedly driven IT at Sensis backwards. Gotta love that!
GK has recently moved on a new role as PM for Project One. She still holds the tittle as CIO however she has hired another GM to manage the other GM’s. It the blind leading the blind. How can Executive Management team allow this to happen? and why is GK working on Project One is it a move into the business or hopefully into the departure lounge 😉
